About Us

Our church located on at 13-15 E. 125th St NY, NY has been fondly called the lighthouse on 125th st for many years. Established in 1961 on the second floor of the current building by our late Pastor Elder R. B. Williams. It was once said, the name was "very powerful" because it includes the Holy Spirit, faith, and an invitation for all individuals develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our current overseer and Senior Pastor became a part of our church community in the mid-sixties; at which time she was unaware of the ministry she would undertake in the future. Our growth has expanded from a second floor fellowship to ministries abroad.

These developments include:

  • Mt. Ararat Fellowship and Worship Center – Our retreat and devotional location in Northeastern Pa.
  • God's Acres – An outreach ministry in the Dominican Republic
  • The Pantry – A food program focused on feeding the less fortunate in our community
  • Along with several community efforts that demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.

However, we realize that except the Lord build the house, our labors are in vain (Ps. 127:1). Therefore, we strive to be laborers together with God (1 Cor. 3:9).
